Mildred Savage

Dear Brian and family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of my dear friend Reita. We met our first year of high school, worked together at Bata shoes when we were 16 and remained friends all our lives. When I got very sick with mumps, Reita took me home to her family and they cared for me til I was well. I remember your Mom fondly and have many examples of both her courage and kindness. I wish I was able to be with you for the funeral, but don't travel alone since I lost my sight.. Please know that you are all in my thoughts an prayers at this time. With love, Mildred Savage
