The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Reita Chard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Mildred Savage
Condolence: Dear Brian and family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of my dear friend Reita. We met our first year of high school, worked together at Bata shoes when we were 16 and remained friends all our lives. When I got very sick with mumps, Reita took me home to her family and they cared for me til I was well. I remember your Mom fondly and have many examples of both her courage and kindness. I wish I was able to be with you for the funeral, but don't travel alone since I lost my sight.. Please know that you are all in my thoughts an prayers at this time. With love, Mildred Savage

Condolence: Brian and Family, we are with you at this time. Brian, we know you are strong and have great family support. We are travelling in Eastern Canada and will not be able to attend Aunt Reita's service. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Aunt Reita was an icon to me and I will always remember and cherish the memories we had with her on many occasions.
