Rushnell Family Services

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sharon Donaldson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Sharon's passing. She was a wonderful person who took the difficulties of her life in stride always beaming with that signature smile that could light up any space she was in. She always said that she was a happy girl. We realized early on that there was barely 2 months difference in our ages but I told her she was the wiser one though I was older. I teased her when she forgot to put on her signature necklace and started wearing more bracelets, telling her she looked "naked" without them which always made her laugh. In the 13 years that I was Chaplain at Maplewood seeing her with her positive and engaging attitude always made my day better. She had MS but the MS never had her and I will miss her dearly.
