Obituary for Robert Bokke "Bob" Devries

DEVRIES, Robert Bokke “Bob” Passed away peacefully at the Hastings Manor Long Term Care Facility on Saturday, August 20th, 2016, at the age of 88. Loving son of the late Taede and Sjoukje Devries. Beloved husband of Jane Devries (nee Groenveld) for 63 wonderful years. Dear father of Anne Allen and her husband Ron of Northbrook, Terrance Devries and his wife Karen of Calgary, Eric Devries of Fort McMurray, Sylvia Smith and her husband Chris of Ennismore, Robert Devries and his wife Moira of Arthur, and Andrew Devries and his wife Tina of Stirling. Devoted and proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by infant son. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
