Obituary for Robin John "Rob" McLaughlin

Robin John "Rob"  McLaughlin
McLAUGHLIN, Robin John “Rob” Suddenly at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 24th, 2015, at the age of 72. Longtime Stirling resident, Rob was a veteran of the OPP with 14 years of service, longtime employee of Hastings County Social Services, proud Administrator of the North Hastings Centennial Manor, and was a member of the council. Rob will be sadly missed by his wife Shelley (nee Gibson). They spent many Sundays traveling together to the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto. He is also survived by his daughter Kim Schaub (Mike) of Welland, and his son David (Tina) of London, his brother Kevin of Madoc, and his grandchildren Rhiannon Sterling, Pippi, Finnegan, and Seamus. Predeceased by his first wife Mary (nee Ray), and his parents Willis and Joan McLaughlin. Following cremation, a celebration of Rob’s life will be held at the STIRLING FUNERAL CHAPEL 87 James St., Stirling (613-395-2424) on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at 1p.m. (with visitation two hours prior from 11 – 1p.m.).
