Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carol Reid can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Carol Reid (Patterson)

REID, Carol – peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Marmora on Monday, June 15, 2015 in her 81st year with her daughters by her side. Carol's playful spirit and stubborn generosity will be sadly missed. Loved daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Burke) Patterson. Loving mother of Douglas Reid, Judy Reid, Cindy Nicholls (David), Susan Reid, Jennifer Bell (Steve), and the late Joey Reid. Ever loved grandmother of Jody and Scott Reid, Michael Nicholls, Sarah Alexander, Ethan and Jack Bell; and many much loved great-grandchildren. Also remembered by many special friends especially Gladys, Karen and Marsha. A Private Family Graveside Service has taken place. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the FRANKFORD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 40 North Trent Street, Frankford (613-392-2111).
