The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Bruinsma can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Bruinsma, Charlie (Tjalling)
Of Stirling in his 81st year. Entered into rest at home on Wednesday, May 27th, 2015. Son of the late Jan and Trynje Bruinsma. Husband of Audrey (nee VanLiere). Father of Marianne (Stephen) McDowell of Plainfield, Tilly Grills of Orillia, Margaret (John) Cote of Corbyville, John (Joan) Bruinsma of Plainfield, Annette (Tim) Klompmaker of Norwood, and the late Chuck Bruinsma. Pake of thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at the STIRLING FUNERAL CHAPEL, (613 395 2424), 87 James Street, Stirling , on Friday, May 29th 2015 from 7-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2015 at One O’clock in the Chapel. The interment will follow at the Stirling Cemetery. A reception will follow at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Hall. If desired, charitable donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation.
