Condolence From: Jackie Wray
Condolence: Hello Phil, I just heard of your father's passing and I wanted to pass along my condolences to you and your family. Your dad had a great presence and a wonderful sense of humour, he had to, to put up with all of us running around your house! I'm sure your very proud of your father's professional accomplishments, but I know it was his personal ones that you will remember most. Take care Phil. Sincerely, Jackie Wray

Condolence From: Lee and Eleanor Jourard
Condolence: Eleanor and I were saddened to learn of Phil's death. Ours has been a lifetime connection with the Flagler families. Phil and I were broadcast colleagues from the time I signed on at CJBQ in 1950, continued through my Cablevue 4 years, and throughout both of our retirements. We shared many experiences in our careers, and many, many good times together. We'll miss him, but the memories will stay with us. Our deepest sympathies to Sandra, Carol, Mark, and Philip Jr., and the families. Lee and Eleanor Jourard

Condolence From: Nan McGhee (Whitlaw)
Condolence: Phil Flagler was one of the favourite people in my life. Fun, loving, professional and genuine. Phil was a part of my life for almost 40 years. His wickedly funny emails, his booming voice and his general concern for everyone's welfare will always be remembered as will his love and concern for Helen. I,for one, will miss this man forever

Condolence From: Cam Finley
Condolence: Phil was a great man and an inspiration as a broadcaster to me and many others. He was my first mentor. I was very new to broadcasting when I worked with Phil in the 1960's and I learned so much from him about how to develop broadcast skills. It was so good to reconnect with Phil a few years ago and to stay in touch by emails. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. My deepest condolences to his family. Condolence From: gerry and bev boyce
Condolence: Bev and I wish to extend our sincere sympathy to the family. I worked with Phil for several summers at CJBQ in the mid-1950s, when I filled in as news editor and researcher. Phil was a joy to work with - always friendly, good natured, helpful, and willingly to share a story from his farm show or a humorous story from another source. He was one of the last survivors from the early years when Bill Stovin was the station manager. Thanks for the great memories,Phil. You will be missed. Again, our sympathy to the family. Gerry and Bev Boyce
